The Slab Mugs project guided students through rolling soft clay slabs and creatively constructing functional mugs, emphasizing form, texture, and the relationship between parts and whole. This hands-on experience also introduced food-safe glazing techniques and taught the essential stages of clay, fostering both artistic skill and practical understanding.
